exit status 12 when transferring a large file
...ow that this
file changes daily my workaround is to transfer it using scp beforehand, so
rsync recognizes it to be already up to date. But this of course will break
should more files start to show that behaviour. Please let me know if more
information is needed.

Rsync 3.0.0pre8 and Mac OS X
...the Mac combines the letter a with the two points above it instead
using the E4 letter
Now the things are clear: The filenames are different, in spite of
looking equally.
A question to the developers: do you see any solution to this problem?
Perhaps a --icont=utf8mac, iso885915 ?

Simplest OS possible?
What is the simplest OS I can install in Xen, preferably Linux based, and
don''t tell me MS-DOS :). I have installed a minimal version of Fedora, but I
want something that is even less cluttered.
I have looked at Minix, but it is not fully supported. I need something
small, lightweight (doesn''t have to be multi-threaded or anything), that
will run small C and Assembler programs
