smbclient changed behaviour authentication-file
...Samba 4.4 in our university, which relays
on authentication-file with giving it a file descriptor.
After 4.4 this does not any more and requires a filename.
Is there something documented about this behaviour?
Is there a new way to pass a file descriptor for authentication?

lme cant get parameter estimated correctly
I am caught in a mental trap. Why isn't the between groups variance estimated
(0.0038) to be around the value with which I generated the data (0.0002)?

I also struggled 3 days to set up a direct connection between a RH7.3 =

personally put it back into service for hysterical raisins, since the
VA-503+ board doesn't need re-cap and it runs very well for what it is.
I'm not sure what I'm going to run on it yet. (It will be in service
