logistic regreesion and score test
Hi guys,
Here I have a dataset with 800 positive samples and 800 negative ones
looking like this
y x1 x2
1 0 1
-1 1 1
......
I want to build a logistic regression model with y as the dependent
variable, x1 and x2 as the independent variables (logit(y)=b0+ b1*x1
+b2*x2.). Then I want to compare this model with the NULL model which is
b1=0 and b2=0 using a score test. With the P value I get from

Help. Import data
Hoy,
I have the following problem. I have to import the dataset (survey) from SPSS
into R-programm. By using the "read.spss" the all of variables have been readed
as factor. I need the variables "income" and "age" as numeric for the
regreesion analysis. Could you plese help me.

error while creating a simple graph
...I am learning R so it's a very simple problem but I do not understand while
I am not able to generate a graph from two vectors.
when I type this code, it generates a very nice graph.
pdf("mygraph.pdf")
> attach(mtcars)
> plot(wt,mpg)
> abline(lm(mpg~wt))
> title("Regreesion of mpg")
> detach(mtcars)

But I am trying to create a graph from this code, it generates a pdf with
nothing.

catch error/warning message in a loop
Hi, I am running cox regreesion (coxph) on a large
number of independent variables, one variable at a
time, using loop. At some point of the loop, the cox
regression stopped due to some errors. How can I know
at which variable the cox regression stopped so that I
can pinpoint the variable that causes the problem? I

I have written a function for calculating the volume of a tree (=trad) or
snag (=h?gst).
The included volume regreesion model includes ten parameter values, which
are tree species specific.
bj?rk.formh?jd.pars is an object which includes the parameter values
(parameter set) for birch (=bj?rk).

Hello all,
I am new to r programmeand need help. I want to do
multiple linear regression analysis. say, I have two matrix 'x' and 'y'. I
want, 'x' as my response variable and 'y' as predictor.
Each time one column of 'x' will be the response, say x[,1], then next x[,2]
and so on. And also I need to store the coefficients in a matrix form.
