I have installed Wine 1.1.9 on a PC running openSUSE 11.1. Apparently, all seems ok, I can run winefile, regedit, winecfg. I have installed an application which makes use of an USB port. The installation was ok. I've installed wine 1.1.8 after a fresh installation of ubuntu intrepid, and while steam downloads and installs properly, when I go to my games list and select a game to install wine just quits. 1.1.9 was just released a short while ago, I was hoping it would fix it, but I'm still stuck.
