Hi
Hi I have a simple question. I want to run a "n times" a simple linear regession and save beta in a matrix but I´m not able. Imagine: Data.txt is a 10*5 file and want to run 4 different stimations always regressing first column on the rest. So I try this: First I run Data on memory This is my function mrp <- function(){ mr<-matrix(0,4,1) for(i in 1:4)

Tru64 patch won't make it into 3.5 due to lack of interest.
Tru64 patch will not make it into 3.5 (this is final) due to lack of willing people to test. I have given the Tru64/osf1 community almost a month to test it. And *ONE* person came forward to give me verification. And don't give me shit about "I don't have time." The person who tested it was LEAVING his employer with Tru64. He found time. IT IS YOUR GAWD DAMN PLATFORM. IF

regression with paired left-censored data
...-censored data within them. I have tried various commands in R: rega = cenreg(Cen(conc, cens_ind) ~ Gp_ident))? with all X and Y data stacked and using a group identifier to look at the differences this doesn't take account of the paired data though. I have also tried splitting the data and regessing one on the other rega = cenreg(Cen(conc1, censind1) ~ Cen(conc2,censind2)) which doesn't work. Does anyone know of a command that will work - or perhaps suggest another package that I could use? I have also looked at multiple imputation packages but they all seem to impute data depending on...

Anyone have experience getting Poser 7 to work?
Hi, I just installed the latest wine and got all kinds of software to work on my box, which is really cool! I'm having trouble with Poser 7, though. I've successfully installed it, and can mostly run it, but it seems like a lot of the windows within tend to disappear mysteriously when clicking outside of them. They come back if you click the right widget, but I find it highly intrusive,

FIPS 140-2 certification
Hello everyone! I work for a company that uses OpenSSH to remotely support systems we've sold. Since some of our clients are US Dept. of Defense hospitals, our access to these servers needs to comply with a whole range of requirements and standards. At this point it's looking like the SSH daemon needs to be FIPS 140-2 compliant, and the only package that is certified is F-Secure.
