I am developing a distributed app in c++ I wanted to upgrade toolchain to use new standard. Using C++14 code in LLVM
As you probably know, RHEL6 comes with gcc 4.4.7, which doesn't even support C++11. You can install gcc 6.3.1 from Red Hat Software Collections, and that fully supports C++11 and C++14, but not 17.
