Path Analysis
Hello list,
I'm trying to make sure that I'm performing a path analysis correctly
using the sem package. the figure at
http://flame.cs.dal.ca/~sstewart/regressDiag.png has a detailing of
the model.
The challenge I'm having is that reuse is an indicator (0/1) variable.
Here's the code I'm using:

BUG: 2.2.6 and dos recusive filecopy
Hi!
I've been using samba for some time now with about 20 users and with
remote installation of Windows XP from dos (TFTPboot image with dos
network drivers - ms client 1.6c).
On all releases (up to, and including 2.2.5) a recursive xcopy (from
dos) copied all files normally.
When I upgraded to samba 2.2.6, the recursive xcopy (win98 version of
xcopy.exe, copying from a mapped drive)

Debugging a worker?
If there is an exception raised in my worker I rescue it and throw it
into the log. This is decent, but it would really help to find out
more information. Like the line number, the stack trace, etc. Is this
possible?
Thanks for your help.
Thank You,
Ben Johnson

Help with backups
I've got a Redhat 5 server running Samba, and two dualboot CentOS 5
workstations.
Until we get a better backup strategy, I'm backing up the workstations to the
server via mounting a shared samba drive to /mnt.
Trying tar cvf /mnt/samba_share/backup.tar /* eventually yields backing up
/mnt, which produces an unwanted loop, including /mnt/samba_share
I looked at tar with --exclude /mnt

Jonny,
Did you ever get your shared printer issue resolved? If so, how? I'm
having exactly the
same problem and I didn't see that anyone responded to your request for
help on the

My setup and problem is pretty much the same as yours was Win XP pro can

'combinations' in gtools and stack overflow
Dear R-users,
Let me ask about the 'stack overflow' error which I got when I used
the function 'combinations' in "gtools".
The following is what I did:
---------
library(gtools)
options(expressions=1e5)
combinations(500, 3, 1:500)
# or combinations(400, 2, 1:400)
Error: protect(): stack overflow
---------
How can I overcome this error?
Is there perhaps any other

[SOLVED] Samba 4: 'Access denied' error when accessing user profile during logon
...hese (missing) names/groups in numbers im fine with it. Linux is not windows.
Imo, setting like this has only one problem, changing to much with CHMOD/CHOWN,
that might kill the acls and you need to set it again FROM WINDOWS!
This is why you set it, export the settings with getfacl ( if needed recusive ) handy to have that if you need to recover.
You set the acls in linux first en from windows again and the both match again.
Just dont touch it after you've set it.
Om totaly open for a better setup ;-) and if im wrong here please tell me, only with comments, we learn.

->journal_info sharing
Hello, Stephen,
It seem that in the presence of several jornalling file systems in the
kernel some mechanism is needed for proper sharing of the ->journal_info
pointer in the task_struct.
One journalled file system can indirectly call another during page fault
in copy_from_user, quota file modification, or
__alloc_pages()->balance_classzone()->shrink_cache()->vm_writeback()

PHP Markdown 1.0.1g & Extra 1.1.3
This is a bug-fix release for PHP Markdown and PHP Markdown Extra.
It's almost identical to version 1.0.2b8, minus the new features
introduced in the 1.0.2 betas (shortcut links, markdown attribute
support for plain PHP Markdown), plus a few minor improvements. You
can download PHP Markdown & Extra from the project page:
