BUG: 2.2.6 and dos recusive filecopy
Hi! I've been using samba for some time now with about 20 users and with remote installation of Windows XP from dos (TFTPboot image with dos network drivers - ms client 1.6c). On all releases (up to, and including 2.2.5) a recursive xcopy (from dos) copied all files normally. When I upgraded to samba 2.2.6, the recursive xcopy (win98 version of xcopy.exe, copying from a mapped drive)

Debugging a worker?
If there is an exception raised in my worker I rescue it and throw it into the log. This is decent, but it would really help to find out more information. Like the line number, the stack trace, etc. Is this possible? Thanks for your help. Help with backups
I've got a Redhat 5 server running Samba, and two dualboot CentOS 5 workstations. Until we get a better backup strategy, I'm backing up the workstations to the server via mounting a shared samba drive to /mnt. Trying tar cvf /mnt/samba_share/backup.tar /* eventually yields backing up /mnt, which produces an unwanted loop, including /mnt/samba_share I looked at tar with --exclude /mnt

Jonny, Did you ever get your shared printer issue resolved? If so, how? I'm having exactly the same problem and I didn't see that anyone responded to your request for help on the lists.samba.org group. My setup and problem is pretty much the same as yours was Win XP pro can see printer share on Linux RH9.0 (kernel 2.4.20), but cannot get access once the drivers are configured. Any

md0 and moving to another system
...ht to have tested this a while ago but I guess not. I have a Centos 5.3 system (call its SYSA) software raid 0, 2 disks. I have an identical system (SYSB) else were, so I pull one of my mirrors drives from SYSA and put it in SYSB as the only drive in SYSB. Upon but I get grub error. I boot in recuse mode (CD, linux rescue) and it attempts to mount the disk, but claims no partitions exists. I drop into a shell and mount it w/o issues. Running fdisk on the drive tells me its got 2 partitions which is true. I set this up as ext3, no LVMs, etc... with root and the other partition being swap...

->journal_info sharing
Hello, Stephen, It seem that in the presence of several jornalling file systems in the kernel some mechanism is needed for proper sharing of the ->journal_info pointer in the task_struct. One journalled file system can indirectly call another during page fault in copy_from_user, quota file modification, or __alloc_pages()->balance_classzone()->shrink_cache()->vm_writeback()

PHP Markdown 1.0.1g & Extra 1.1.3
This is a bug-fix release for PHP Markdown and PHP Markdown Extra. It's almost identical to version 1.0.2b8, minus the new features introduced in the 1.0.2 betas (shortcut links, markdown attribute support for plain PHP Markdown), plus a few minor improvements. You can download PHP Markdown & Extra from the project page: <http://www.michelf.com/projects/php-markdown/> Here
