Runt Recurring events
I am planning on using Runt to calculate recurring events. I
calculate a Runt object in the view and use it to see if it includes a
certain date, which is populates from the database, and display the
info for that date if it is included. I have recurring events for
every week, which was pretty easy to set up. I can just say:
r = Runt::DIWeek.new(4)
For a recurring event every Thursday, and

Monthly billing and payment processor recommendations?
Hi,
I''m setting up a site that will bill on a monthly basis. I would
rather not have to worry about storing customer credit card
information. Does anyone have recommendations on payment processors
that offer monthly billing services?
I don''t want to go the paypal route as I want the user to stay on
the site. I''m hoping to find an API to integrate with. I have

Samba - Amiga, smbclient recurs problem
Hi All,
I'm an Amiga user of samba. All is well with server and client except recursive mput
within smbclient. It transfers nothing, and reports no errors. Can anyone help? My
samba version is 1.9.16p9.
More detail: I started with BIN: pointing to amitcp:samba/bin in which I placed sh,
as recommended. I found without recurs set that mput #? (or mput *) reported that
it could not find ls

Scheduling Plugin
Hi,
We are looking for a calendar scheduling solution that supports
recurring events.
Some specific requirements are that we need to be able to setup
recurring events, then modify one of those events on a certain day by
deleting it for example.
Basically, we want the back end for a Google Calender type
functionality.
Ive dug around in GitHub and there are tons of recurring plugins but not

recurring error in log.samba . . .
Thanks to various contributors on the Samba List (particularly Rowland,
Marc & Andrew), I have successfully configured a Samba AD DC on Ubuntu
14.04 from scratch and joined my Windows 2008 R2 Servers.
However, I have had a recurring error from the beginning --

How to test if one range of dates overlaps another?
Hi all,
I have a situation with a recurring billing application where I need
to test if one range of dates "overlaps" another range of dates. Does
anyone know a rails find or mysql select statement that will test for
this? Here are the details:
* Recurringcharge items have a start_date and an end_date that
represent the period of time that the charges should occur.
* Statement items

question about the "Y of R" article in the latest R news
I found the article the "Y of R" in the latest R news to be very
interesting. It is certainly challenging me to learn more about how R works
"under the hood" as the author states. What is less clear to me is whether
this approach is primarily for teaching purposes or has a real world
application. What is meant by "fragility of reliance on the function
name defined as a

[ADV/ANN] Easy recurring billing with Authorize.net
I have just put out an update to the SaaS Rails Kit, a sample Rails
application that implements recurring billing. This update adds support for
the Authorize.net payment gateway. With the Rails Kit and Authorize.net
CIM, you get a complete and very flexible subscription billing system that
you can use as a starting point for building your software-as-a-service
Rails application, so you can skip

Every other week recurring event
I have the code for computing a weekly event:
(start_date..end_date).select{|d| d.wday == wday}
but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for using this to figure
out a recurring event for every other week. Is it possible to somehow
specify every other within the .select method? Any other
implementation ideas?

estimating the proportion without recurring ailment based on the nelson-aalen estimator
Dear useRs,
I'm trying to estimate the proportion of individuals with a without a certain recurring ailment at several times points. The data are of the survival type, with "start"-"stop" dates and whether the individual had the ailment in that interval.
Some cases are observed until database closure and some died or are lost to followup. The interest is not on death. I

design question
Hi,
I''m developing a budget planner for myself and do have a table for recurring
expenses, as well as a transaction table for my bank account CSV file
uploads.
Questions: For the projections forward in time I''m wonder whether to:
(a) keep it simple and just calculate future balance projections on the fly,
then feed to gruff graphs
(b) each time a recurring item changes, or

Authorize.net and recurring payments
Has anyone successfully setup recurring payments with Authorize.net?
I''ve seen posted here that their API doesn''t really support this, but it
appears they do. I''m under the understanding that you bill the card
once then get a transaction ID that you can use each month (or whatever)
to bill that card again. This way, you don''t store the card number

Recurring Wakeup Call Schedule & play Weather Forecast
I use Asterisk as a wakeup service for home and regularly dial for weather
forecast after waking up. I'd like to be able to setup a recurring wakeup
call M-F and have it play the weather forecast rather than moh. I'm using
AAH that has had all components recently upgraded. Has anyone done this sort
of thing?
Thanks,

Autocomplete and Firefox
Having problems with the autocomplete on my linux box and firefox.
When I use form tags it breaks, without form tags everything works fine.
Exact copy of the example provided, but I added form tags.. The initial
search and select works but then the box sort of "locks up" and I can''t
change it at all, If I do try to type something nothing changes but a
