How to tell Ices0 reloading the playlist?
Hi all! How can I tell ices0 to refersh/reload the playlist? I thought it would be done automaticaly, but now if I changed the playlist, Ices didn't see this. Played funny the old one again and again. Is it possible to get ices a kick to reload the playlist? Greetings Anatol

Client has fallen too far behind
Hi, I've a little bit trouble. I've set up an icecast 2.2.0 and an ices 0.4 system. Every song, sometimes every two songs my playler lost the connection to the stream and in DEBUG-Mode I found a logfileentry like: DBUG source/send_to_listener Client has fallen too far behind, removing. I changed the queue-size in icecast.xml from 102400 to 902400 (don't know if it is a good

Refresh Ices 0.4.?
Hello! How can I refresh ices 0.4.? If the playlist has changed, I want to load it into the ices at a definied time. I read I can do it with: kill -SIGHUP <icespid> But this don't work! :( Alternativ I can stop the ices and restart it, but at this moment, the listeners lose the source-connection and have manualy to reconnect. Is there any solution? For refreshing ices 0.4 or to hold

Ices 0.4. options
Hi all! ices 0.4 has the -N and -H options: -N <Reencoded number of channels> -H <Reencoded sample rate> I assume, number of channels meens mono and stereo? So I ve to choose between the values 1 and 2. Is that right? Which values can be set for the sample rate? 16, 22, 32, 44 or 16000, 22000 ... a.s.o. greetz tol

Why no connect to relaying server?
Hi all! I've setup an icecast2 relay server, which connect to an icecast1 server mountpoint. the stats.log of icecast1 lists an/my icecast2 relay connect - so far so fine :) BUT: if i try to listen to the relayed stream, my winamp couldn'd connect: 404 file not found :(( the access.log lines are like: 213.23.134.235 - - [13/Apr/2004:08:05:29 +0200] "GET /rc2 HTTP/1.0" 404

icecast and ssl -error?
Hi! I configuered icecast 2 successfull but the make command runs an error. A ssl error!?! /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/3.3/../../../../i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [icecast] Error 1 I'm confused! I've installed a separate curl without-ssl and specified the curl-path when configuering icecast, but the make rises still the same error :-( Any idea?! Thanks for any hint!
