The reconnect timer can be adjusted in 1.0.31?
Hi,
When the meta connection get lost, it’ll be reconnect like below:
Trying to re-establish outgoing connection in 5 seconds, and if it’s failed, then the timer will be increased for another try.
My question is, how to adjust the reconnect timer, in some cases, the reconnect delay for a while(increase to something longer) will be beneficial for the unstable connection.

iax softphones - not reconnecting
...lify, it will not connect to the asterisk. This is also documented and normal behaveor.
But if I turn of qualify, iaxcomm does not reconnect to the server, when the server got restartet or the connection got lost.
So I do not know, how I can get this problem solved. Turning on qualify would get it reconnecting, but after some time it does disconnect with the note: is now unreachable.
is there any other option I can activate to get asterisk or iaxcomm reconnecting?
Or does anybody know any other softphone for windows, that is freeware and maybe also brandable?
hope anybody can help me to get this run...

Win2k and XP reconnecting problem
...sword, the drive mapping goes ok. With the debug level = 100 and
#define DEBUG_PASSWORDS I find that Windows 2000 and Windows XP do transmit a
empty password together the name, and that's why I get Incorrect password.
I must stress that from Windows 95 and 98, logon reconnection works ok. Also
reconnecting Windows 2000 or XP to a Win98 workstation at logon works ok,
without reconfirming the password for every share.
I tried with security=user and with encrypted passwords but nothing helps, I
must reconfirm my password for every share at every logon.
Can anybody help me to solve my problem? Thank yo...

[PATCH server] Also print reconnect message in log.
It seems people were getting confused by the message that taskomatic was
disconnected and not logging a reconnect message. This patch makes it
log on reconnect as well.

Reconnect to Shares not working

assigned shares, they checked the "reconnect on logon" box -- so their Windows
machine would automatically reconnect to desired shares on the Samba server each
time they booted up the client machine.
However, I'm finding that the Windows machines aren't automatically
reconnecting on each boot. The mapped share appears in Explorer with a red highlight
(unconnected) until the user clicks on the share. The first click produces an
error that the share is unavailable or you may not have permission to use it.
Then the next click allows access to the share.

Why some WinXP machines won't reconnect on reboot
Hi Samba list.
Here is my scenario. I have 10 Windows XP machines that use a Linux box as a
file server. Running Mandrake 10 (more or less), 2.6, Samba 3.03. We have
hundreds of individual shares defined -- but users only see their own shares (we
use the "include=smb.%U.conf" setting in Global settings, and define the shares
in individual conf files for each user.)

'Transport endpoint not connected'
This should be a pretty easy issue to reproduce, at least it seems to happen
to me very often. (gluster-3.2.5)
After storage backend(s) have been rebooted, the client mounts are often
broken until you unmount and remount. Example from this morning: I had
rebooted storage servers to upgrade them to ubuntu 12.04. Now at the client
side:
$ ls /gluster/scratch
ls: cannot access /gluster/scratch:

Help with reconnecting a faulty brick
Hi everyone.
I'm running a simple Gluster setup like this:
? * Replicate 2x1
? * Only 2 nodes, with one brick each
? * Nodes are CentOS 7.0, uising GlusterFS 3.5.3 (yes, I know it's old,
I just can't upgrade right now)
No sharding or anything "fancy". This Gluster volume is used to host VM
images, and are used by both nodes (which are gluster server and
clients).

Postgresql Reconnect on connection failure
Currently if asterisk loses its connection to the postgresql it does not attempt to reconnect. I have searched all over for a setting that would have asterisk attempt to reconnect but I can not find anything. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks!

Question: when y'all are saying "reconnect", is this different from
stopping the h/a services, reconnecting to the network, and then starting
the services (which would let you avoid a reboot)?
