Simple print statement (was: recongizing the current controller in views)
All (and kevin), After flying high for a while on Rails things, I''m down to the nitty gritty of Ruby stuff. Messing with vars and printing them out on a web page. I found the controller_path in the API docs; However when putting this in a controller: @test1 = controller_class_name @test2 = controller_name @test3 = controller_path And this in a partial: Test1 <%= @test1

Strange winbind behavior with netbios name, perfect with ip address
Hi all This is a bit of a continuation of an old thread, which I have had no joy in fixing. We have a samba server authenticating against a W2k3 server in security = ADS mode. If there is a file in a share, owned by user."domain users" and chmod 700, it would normally be ONLY readable by that user. This is true only if the user goes to \\ip.add.of.srv\share - if he goes to

Group Policies
I was told that this mailing list might be a good place to get some answers that another one I'm on couldn't answer. I am using Samba to serve a small Christian school in PA, and we went for it mostly because of the cost - how much better than free can you get! I've been very pleased with it, as it's my first server setup. Learned a lot and have gotten a lot of help. However,

Hello All! I have a new OpenSuse 12.2 (with 3.4.33-2.24-xen kernel) + Xen 4.1.3 install on an IBM x3550 server. The system is booted via EFI with Grub2 bootloader and it boots up normally, either with or without Xen. But i have one trouble with it: I can''t get console access working with Xen. The strange thing is, despite the "WARNING: no console will be available to
