...nce I'm using a high resolution 1600x1200 20inch LCD with DVI-D connector to the computer. However I want to mention that I used the R source code on the same computer but on the red hat linux 8.0 partition (note that my computer has dual boot systems). The R worked fine. I'm not sure if recomipling R source code for window XP will work. if you have suggestions to make R work on Windows XP, it will be much appreciated.

From the article that I have read I need to add this filesystem to my kernel to be able to mount and read the floppy discs. Can anyone help me with this I have never recomipled my kernel before. Then I should be able to use # mount -t sysv /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy I have found in the .config file under misc filesystems that I can turn on sysv filesytem. I am not sure what to do after that.
