Voice Recognition
Hi all, Does anyone know if Asterisk or any available 3rd party add-on for it support "voice recognition" (not "speech recognition") - task of recognizing people from their voices? Thanks, Alex

Simple speech recognition for driving IVR - "press or say one".
...only sets a flag of "DTMF" (A terminating DTMF was received ('#' or '*', depending upon option 't')). So, I don't get to know which key was pressed via that method, either. There's very little information I can find about the built-in functions for speech recognition. https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Speech+Recognition+API doesn't actually explain how to integrate the actual speech engines. In this previous forum post, https://community.asterisk.org/t/asterisk-15-jack-streams-speech-recognition-so-many-questions/72108/2 , jcolp explained that...

Voice Recognition
Has anyone out there had any success with any type of voice recognition? I would LOVE to see something work within Asterisk. I have tried for days and can't seem to get this right. Is it even possible? I have read everything I can find, but it's like the sphinx integration/documentation was dropped because of lack of interest. I tried this with Sphi...

voice recognition xml
Anyone here technical enough to design a voice recognition voice xml interchange for asterisk please email me; I've been speaking with a contact of mine that is in the voice recognition space and he is interested in 'donating' some technical support to the Asterisk community to assist with this project. This can only help benefit the Ast...

Speech Recognition

Speech Recognition and Asterisk
All; Since I have interest in providing the capability for callers to speak the department, person or number they wish to call, as well as other IVR scenarios, I have been reviewing much of this lists email archives and searching the web for open source voice recognition that will work with the Asterisk PBX. What I am trying to determine, is what will it take to get it working on Asterisk? How much effort and cost? So far I have uncovered references to the following: 1) VoiceXML standards, and forums 2) OpenVXI - which supports VoiceXML, simu...

Asterisk and voice recognition

For example, i want the user to be able to say something simular in Swedish: connect disconnect help and so on. Best regards and thanks, Christian

Voice recognition with Asterisk
What voice recognition software options are available with Asterisk? I've seen some references to Sphinx in the lists and docs, but I can't find details on on how to integrate with Asterisk. If anyone has had success integrating and using voice recognition in Asterisk, I would greatly appreciate advice and l...

Coice recognition IVR?
Hello everyone. Is it possible to do some very basic voice recognition from within Asterisk's dialplan? What I'm aiming at is the ability to speak the digits I want to dial from my mobile phone. Dialing digits on my mobile phone while driving is not all that safe... Thanks for any input, Cosmin Prund

Looking for Speech Recognition (ASR) suggestions
Hello Luca, Thank you for your response. I?m familiar with speech recognition and TTS, but new to MRCP. Yes, the 100k options is used for names in a directory listing. In the pre-MRCP support, Nuance ASR used API events/methods for the application to tell ASR when the prompt was playing and when it stopped. If ASR detected speech, it would signal an event so we would s...

Voice recognition IVR Is it possible?
Hello list, I was wondering if it were possible for asterisk to do a voice recognition type IVR? Like you know how most banks and stuff do, where they ask you to say your selection or key it in? If this is possible, how can I set this up? I'm using FreePBX 2.11 on Linux, CentOS 6.7 32-bit, asterisk version 1.8.32.3. Thanks.

GSM ISDN gateway to quadbri NT port under bristuffed Asterisk - where to set gain (I have unreliable inband dtmf recognition )?
Hi, I'm getting unreliable dtmf recognition (it works fine for 4-5 digits, errors (duplicates) on more), when transferred inband from gsm gateway to NT port of quadbri under bristuffed Asterisk..... Since Asterisk is claimed to have good dtmf recognizer, I suspect there are some settings to workarouned... I've tried dtmf relax, bu...

Voice-Recognition / ASR / with barge in
Hi there, I am using Asterisk 11.9 (with Sangoma-E1-Card/DAHDI) and it works fine :-) But I am wondering if there is a solution/application which will enable me to implement voice recognition while playing a voice file (barge in). So that the caller hears a voice file and can interrupt it with his voice. Currently (on our platform) the caller has to wait for the end of the voicefie. Then we play a beep. And then we record his voice and realize voice recognition with ispeech (it is a...

[LLVMdev] Hazard recognition using MCInst
...w to generate object files(.o) from input (.s assembly) files. The input .s is given to AsmParser, which creates MCInst after matching instruction opcode. These MCInst are converted to MCStream and then finally emitting to an object file using Target Code Emitter. I am considering whether hazard recognition can be done on the list of MCInst, which I get after parsing .s file ?? The hazard recognition available with LLVM, uses 'scheduling DAG of Machine Instructions' and Alias Analysis data for checking dependencies. In my case, do I need to create a Schedule DAG from MCInst ? And moreover...

Looking for Speech Recognition (ASR) suggestions
Is it correct that the unimrcp is the best approach for Asterisk and ASR/TTS? Could anyone provide pros/cons for the various ASR options for Asterisk? We need the ability for very large grammars (over 100,000 options). Because of this, my initial thought is Nuance or Lumenvox. Does this sound correct? Have a great day!
