Hosting Reco
I have two needs that require offsite hosting now, anyone know
offhand of any of the unlimited storage/bandwidth vendors that
exist now that allow remote scp|rsync access to the data, not
just "in shell scp use"?
I'm hunting around and its apparently hard to get a straight answer...
vps or dedicated is overkill for this one need, and none of those
offerings have the

Personal Wiki for CentOS
For ages I have been keeping docs and notes in Public Folders inside an Exchange server
and want to move this out to a more modern facility that allows tagging and searching via
a web interface for keywords so I can keep all my notes more organized.
Anyone have any personal recos for the slickest system to do this with. Given the nature of
my home setup, its routinely used to lab stuff up so I would want something that can be easily
migrated to a new install if need be.
Thanks!

OT: Infrastructure Documenting
...our (limited and badly organized) documentation to a wiki.
Anyone got any examples/pointers to a hierarchy that made logical sense? We
are hoping to move everything from topology to application specific notes in
to the wiki. Given the size of this task, I only want to do this once:)
Thanks for any reco's!

speex on Dell Axim X51v
...ng about a subject that may have already been answered. If so, please point me in the right direction.
I'm developing a dictation application on the Dell Axim (Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC). A key requirement of the application is the best possible sampling rate as the audio goes into a speech reco system. So, I've set up my wrapper around libspeex to capture audio (1 channel, 22050Hz, 16 bits/sample) in blocks of the frame size. However, the encoder lags significantly - typically upwards of 2000 frames, at complexity <= 1 and quality <= 3. I've a

I was about to setup Acrophobia but I don't want the file people print to be emailed back.
Anyone got a reco on a setup that can be mapped as an SMB printer and return the file back
to the user from the printer just like how setup my windows PS printer to print to file.
Thanks!

Firewall/router
I was using pfSense in a vm under esx but I want to move to Xen and prefer something that can run as a pv guest. Anyone got any reco's of what can run on top of CentOS to perform a similar role as pfSense (perform nat/pat and firewall etc between two interfaces)?
Thanks for any ideas!

Oslec issue
...e
in, and modified my system.conf has echocanceller=oslec.
cat /proc/dahdi/1 shows:
Span 1: WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM410P Board 1" (MASTER)
IRQ misses: 1
1 WCTDM/0/0 FXSKS (In use) (EC: OSLEC)
2 WCTDM/0/1
3 WCTDM/0/2
4 WCTDM/0/3
With the reco's from http://www.rowetel.com/ucasterisk/oslec.html#install on
configuring the chan_dahdi.conf file, the system behaves exactly as if there
is no ec enabled at all?
Are there any additional steps needed to enable oslec under dahdi, I am guessing
I have missed something?
Thanks,

Also, I have to setup a Digi serial port server for an external fax modem.
Any reco''s on a robust unit that won''t need to be reset often?

The actual forking of processes is handled in Tcl and the C code only gets
involved to write the data out (to an FD the Tcl layer keeps).
The problem is that every now and then the process gets stuck and becomes
unkillable just after forking, ie..

Question on trying to build R 2.11.1 on Tru64(aka OSF1)
