Some make targets are failing
...ailing. OTOH, make bios seems to be working (at least for the binaries that I am able to build). In some low-resources systems, the difference between building: _ only the installers or; _ all binaries under BIOS, can be relevant. I want to remind you about a proposed patch (that was later recanted) related to this target: http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2016-March/024907.html Although Mr. Balducci recanted his proposed patch, there might still be problems with the "(bios) installer" target(s), considering that I am not using any kind of script other than the Syslinux code...

u32 hashing bug?
...f00, and 0x0000 00ff (and ht''s of c0, a8, 01, and 69, respectively); they all worked. I tried 0x0ff0 0000 and 0x000f f000 (ht''s 0a and 80) without success. Does this appear to be a bug? I don''t have a patch, but I''ll post one if I get one (or I''ll recant my "bug" :) ). _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc HOWTO: http://lartc.org/

xapian porting to Interix / conclusion
...h. Replication introduced in 1.1.x series (and present in the 1.2.x series) requiring the remote backend, prevented me from compiling flint w/out remote; the xapian-core-1.0.23 compile w/out the remote backend demonstrated that it was feasible to run xapian under Interix. If Microsoft Corp. would recant on their decision effective as of Windows 8.1 to discontinue enabling for Interix, it might be a suitable platform for xapian, albeit possibly with some restrictions on bindings. [LLVMdev] Compiling FreeType 2.1.9 with LLVM 1.4
Adam, I recant my previous message. I built FreeType with GCC not LLVMGCC by accident (I shoulda checked!). The thing is, FreeType's makefiles don't respect environment variables. So, I did this: CC=/path/to/llvmgcc CXX=/path/to/llvmg++ configure make and was able to reproduce the problem. Not sure wha...

[LLVMdev] Compiling FreeType 2.1.9 with LLVM 1.4
Hi all, I learned of LLVM a couple of days ago: <http://groups.google.co.nz/groups?selm=pan.2004.12.18.11.29.33.33249%40consulting.net.nz> <http://groups.google.co.nz/groups?th=608e6e38e496f09d> (I posted a tail call followup which is missing from the archive) Jestingly, LLVM developers appear intent upon nothing short of world domination. Not only have you done an end run around
