Reducing a matrix
I wish to rearrange the matrix, df, such that all there are not repeated x values. Particularly, for each value of x that is reated, the corresponded y value should fall under the appropriate column. For example, the x value 3 appears 4 times under the different columns of y, i.e. y1,y2,y3,y4. The output should be such that for the lone value of 3 selected for x, the corresponding row entries

High CPU Usage After Glusterfs install
Hi Guys,
I have 2 servers with a fresh install of glusterfs and I am seeing a very high CPU load.? I am trying to just do a very basic config to get this started and for the life of me, I don't know what could be causing it.? The CPU goes up to 100% across all 4 CPU's on each gluster node and I am seeing timeouts coming from the vms that I am testing with.? I simply copied the

how can that be?
i mean there is obviously a difference and samba is losing track if it's
now reating a new file or modify a existing one?
that permissions/acl stuff is *a real* problem for many setups when a
idiotic client is changing the permissions of a shared document, the
person goes to vacation and other team members no longer have write access

read.table missing values
I have experienced a similar problem when saving Excel data in this
format. When any of the variables, except the last, contained missing
values, there was not a problem. However, the problem occurred when the
last variable contained missing values. My guess is that the last
delimiter was left off? The "fill" option worked in my case. Use the
option with care and double check the

Interest in commercial support for R, R-metrics and relat ed packages
Spotfire communicates with R and S-PLUS via SOAP (in R's case, via Greg
Warnes' RSOAP server). I would guess that `linking' at that level with GPL
software does not make the code on the Spotfire side GPL. The two systems
don't even have to live on the same computer (and most likely, don't).
Just my $0.02...

HTB metro/international
Hi all!
I have a problem setting up HTB on my home network.
I have a network: 192.168.1.0/24 and I want to limit the download to 200 KB to
every IP from my city ( I have the IP''s of most ISPs). The thing is that I I
want to limit the international traffic too (I do not use BGP) and set it
to 15 KB. Can someone help with this setup? Thanks!
Best regards,
