[LLVMdev] registerSize on X86 confused?
Hi,
In file X86DisassemblerDecoder.c, we have function readPrefixes() with
below code:
.....
} else if (insn->mode == MODE_32BIT) {
insn->registerSize = (hasOpSize ? 2 : 4);
insn->addressSize = (hasAdSize ? 2 : 4);
insn->displacementSize = (hasAdSize ? 2 : 4);
insn->immediateSize = (hasOpSize ? 2 : 4);
}

[LLVMdev] X86 disassembler 0x66 prefix
...| llvm-mc

I attach a patch, but I'm not really familiar with this code, so if someone
can review/correct, it would be great.
The problem is between readPrefixes and getId : prefixLocation depends on
buffer position, but necessaryPrefixLocation is never updated to match
buffer position.
Cheers,
Olivier.
