Hello, I am trying to import an .eps file created with Adobe Illustrator and plot it in a Quartz window (I am using R 2.11.1 GUI 1.34 Leopard build 32-bit (5589) on MacOSx.5.8). I thought of using the PostScriptTrace() to convert my .eps file to RGML, and then use readPicture to plot the file, but the first step already fails (cf below). I also had a look at the add.image( ) example, which does work on my screen. Ultimately, I would like to plot my picture and let the user click on different parts to run different actions. Thanks for any help or alternative ways...

I'd like to paste a zodiac sign on a graph, but it only prints it when I add another unicode ( \u3030) to the desired \u2648 - why? Hi everyone I'd like to flip grobs (grid graphical objects) along an axis, e.g. flip grobs horizontally or vertically. I couldn't find any hints, neither in the documentation nor by searching the web. Does anybody know how to achieve this? Cheers /thomas
