Bind isn't working. after upgrade.
...file (/etc/rndc.conf) rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that * the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, * this host is not authorized to connect, * the clocks are not synchronized, or * the key is invalid. After a Google search I found: to remove rdnc.key and it was suppose to be working ok. and I chown named:named the file /etc/named.conf, now if I do "service named status" it throws me: version: 9.8.2rc1-RedHat-9.8.2-0.10.rc1.el6_3.1 CPUs found: 4 worker threads: 4 number of zones: 17 debug level: 0 xfers running: 0 xfers deferred:...

Problems with bind9_dlz when rndc is reloaded
...ba.org Assunto: Re: [Samba] Problems with bind9_dlz when rndc is reloaded Hi Roger, I'm using Samba as AD DC in version 4.5.0 on Centos 7 with Bind9_DLZ DNS backend, Bind is 9.9.4 and I don't have that issue. I tried reload my bind using systemctl at first and no issue, then I tried "rdnc reload" to be sure rndc was used, still no issue. By no issue I don't mean log are clean, I mean the DNS service is working well (tested using dig commands). In my logs I have the very same complaints about "duplicate zone" which are ignored. In my logs I don't have complai...

And it won't start using rndc, it cause error message. Why does the error shows port 953 when I specified for port 53 in the config? rndc: connect failed: 127.0.0.1#953: connection refused Below are
