Where the data file is stored?
Hi folks,
OS - Ubuntu 10.04
On R I create a datafile named "data". I can evoke it on R with;
> data
On R Commander
Data -> Active data set -> Select active data set -> (data) OK
only one data set there "data"
-> View data set
I can read it
-> Edit data set
showing 25 rows of data. Clicking the box shows a thick border around it. But
I couldn't

Table Construction from calculations
Hi-
I am trying to create a table of values by adding pairs of vectors, but
am running into some problems. The problem is best expressed by a
simple example.
Starting with a data table "basis":
atom x y z
1 Cu 0.0 0.0 0.0
2 Cu 0.5 0.5 0.5
I want to add 0.5 0.5 0.5 (and also the 0 0 0 but it wouldn't change
the values below so I won't refer to it in the rest

Novice User Manual
Dear R users,
I'm a new user of R : in fact , i hadn't used R yet. To say the
truth , I'm used to with graphical interface of windows environment. so R
console reminds me Linux , of which i am afraid of much more. Whatever , i
like to learn about the 7 topics below of "R" or "S+4.5" [is there any
other similar program like these ?]. Thats why i need
