confidence / prediction ellipse
Hi,
I'm using the R library(car) to draw confidence/prediction ellipses in a
scatterplot.
>From what i understood the ellipse() function return an ellipse based
parameters: shape, center, radius .
If i read dataEllipse() function i can see how these parameters are
calculated for a confidence ellipse.
ibrary(car)
a=c(12,12,4,5,63,63,23)
b=c(13,15,7,10,73,83,43)

Rsync files with long filename
...D=971509383441462[1]
Of course, this is just a temp file, however a number of important files
are not being copied.
My setup (which otherwise is working well) is rsyncing between two w2k3
machines with cygwin.
Rsync command:
$RSYNC -vrpogtz --delete \
--exclude=.mappedfiles --include-from=$RCONF \
--modify-window 10 $RHOST::backup$SPATH $DPATH
With all paramaters set correctly
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Compilation of R under Mandrake Linux 6.1 (helios)
I've just installed Mandrake Linux, then compiled R-0.65.1 .
Whether because I omitted some necessary items when I selected
software for installion, or because they anyway needed to be
loaded afterwards, I found it necessary to load the following
packages in order to compile R-0.65.1
pgcc-g77-1.1.3-3mdk.i586.rpm (Fortran g77 compiler)
XFree66-devel-3.3.5-3mdk.i586.rpm (X.h etc
