Hi, I have just spent a whole day installing Centos 5.3 on an old machine and now as I take disc 4 out and reboot, I get the first black screen with Login and Password. I can remember being asked for one Login and pwd early in the install but chose not to use one, then it asked what the box is going to be called and I said Linux... (I think). I've been having an odd problem lately. When I drag files from the computer to a flash drive, they appear to copy, but when I try to use the files I find that only the name was copied (file size of 0). When I copy the same files to the same flash drive, from the terminal, everything seems to work. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? It's starting to get a little frustrating.

Hi, I just upgraded to the newest kernel and Flash. Hulu now "grays out" when I try to go to full screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the proprietary video drivers (no difference either way), so I'm guessing it has something to do with either the new Flash or the new kernel.
