Radio Buttons or similars
...function that creates a Radio Buttons, and I need that this function return the selected value in the Radio Buttons. I would like that, if somebody know as I could return the value, you say me as do it. Next, I show the function function1<-function(){ require(tcltk) tt <- tktoplevel() rb1 <- tkradiobutton(tt) rb2 <- tkradiobutton(tt) rbValue <- tclVar("oranges") tkconfigure(rb1,variable=rbValue,value="apples") tkconfigure(rb2,variable=rbValue,value="oranges") tkgrid(tklabel(tt,text="Which do you prefer?")) tkgrid(tklabel(tt,text...

R-beta: R on Windows 3.1
My attempt to get R running in Windows 3.11 didn't go very far. I have read the FAQ and install.tex carefully. What am I missing? Here is the step: 1. From statlib I got rexe.zip (and rbeta.zip, but this one seems for windows 95 only?). 2. On unzipping I got 8 files, including rb1.exe, and a sub- dir win32s, which I copied to windows/system. (There is no setup.exe, which the install program refers to). 3. rb1.exe does not run. (Similar story with rbeta.zip). -Yudi- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= r-help...

x86: PIE support and option to extend KASLR randomization
These patches make the changes necessary to build the kernel as Position Independent Executable (PIE) on x86_64. A PIE kernel can be relocated below the top 2G of the virtual address space. It allows to optionally extend the KASLR randomization range from 1G to 3G. Thanks a lot to Ard Biesheuvel & Kees Cook on their feedback on compiler changes, PIE support and KASLR in general. Changes: - patch v1: - Simplify ftrace implementation. - Use gcc mstack-protector-guard-reg=%gs with PIE when possible. - rfc v3: - Use --emit-relocs instead of -pie to reduce dynamic relocation space on mapped memory. It also simplifies the relocation process. - Move the start the module section next to the kernel. Remove the need for -mcmodel=large on modules. Extends

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
