Raspberry PI 3
Hi all
I downloaded the RPI3 image:
CentOS-Userland-7-armv7hl-Minimal-1603-RaspberryPi3.img.xz
how do I resize the root FS? My Sd card is 32G and I am only using 2G of
that.
also I thought the RPI3 as was 64 bit. When I downloaded the
aarch64.img and tried that it did not boot.
I thought the RPI3 supported this image. perhaps not.

Failed building any Samba version starting with v4.10.0
Hi,
-j 1 did not help here, still that big number of "invalid string offset"
messages.
Is it the same on your end?
@Rowland: same with you?
I can work around by compiling on and using native Debian Buster
64bittish aarch64, based on
https://people.debian.org/~gwolf/raspberrypi3/20190628/ , but I prefer
to stay on Raspbian if possible.

Norbert

It's been around for a few months.
https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/AltArch/Arm32/RaspberryPi3
It is completely stable, and it has the entire base rpm and selected stuff
from EPEL.
But there isn't an ARM epel repo yet and some packages are missing.
Since most of the linux infrasructure I manage is using CentOS it seemed
like a good idea.
I'm trying to set up a cheap and reliable infr...

Ubiquiti Model UAP-AC-PRO
Everyone,
Have any of you installed ubiguiti wireless routers on your network?
It looks like the setup requires the use of software; they have some
packages that are ready made for Ubuntu and Debian, but not RedHat
https://www.ubnt.com/download/unifi/unifi-ap-ac-pro
Have any of you tried or succeeded in installation this on Centos 7.4?

Failed building any Samba version starting with v4.10.0
Removing the "jobs" parameter solved the issue.
Thanks a lot Rowland!

You should still be able to install car from within R, which you tried. On my
raspi system using the unofficial Debian stretch image from
https://wiki.debian.org/RaspberryPi3
I had to install ed (apt install ed) in order to get the dependency nloptr to
compile. Now the compilation of the dependency RcppEigen is running (which
seems to have failed or was interrupted on your system, judging by the error
message you posted). Surely more than five minutes ago my raspi s...

Thanks very much, Dirk! I gave that a try and got the following:

Building dependency tree

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could
jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now!
But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an
environment I am comfortable in.
Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi,
or if there's even a useful port?
Thanks

Samba AD /dns /dhcp
Hi there, thanks for your reply. Probably I should add that:
a) I'm running Centos7 on the RPi3.
b) Compiled and installed samba 4.7.2 from source (packaged AD samba not
available for CentOS)
c) I haven't managed an AD before this thing landed in my lap, much less a
Samba AD :)
