NOT FOUND error
I''ve been hunting the web and reading the mailing lists all day but I''m not finding any guidance on this problem. When I try to talk to my mongrel it simply responds with NOT FOUND and nothing else. I can''t find anything on google because this has to be the second most commond phrase in existence. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Chuck Vose

Redundancy / Failover
...h could have the same network, and just swap network cables and re-login. One could log into both and the second wouldn't send calls to the agent unless it got calls from the main switch in the event of failure. I'm sure there other solutions. I've come across other products like Ranch Networks (their web site is rather uninformative, although it seems promising) and Redfone's foneBRIDGE (which seems it may help.) I'll be using Sangoma cards on the Asterisk box, if that matters. Does anyone have experience they'd like to share on effective ways to do this? -N...

mongrel_cluster clarification
Apologizes in advance if this sounds rather dense, but I want to make sure I''m understanding everything correctly. We''re in the process of migrating from Apache2.0/FastCGI to Apache2.0+mongrel (why not 2.2? that story is too long and too uninteresting to recount here, but I will tell you that it involves RHEL and only using RHN rpms). The init script that comes with mongrel

mongrel_cluster 0.2.2 prerelease
Hey y''all: I''ve added some new stuff to mongrel_cluster. Give it try and let me know if it works for you. * Added ''--clean'' to cluster::start to force removal of the pidfile before trying to start the cluster member. This is useful for recovering from unexpected process death. * Added ''--only PORT'' to cluster::* to support running a

Acer Aspire Photographer in need of expert help
...etc But I am a photographer not a computer expert. I didn?t even realise the machine was Linux not Windows XP!!! Does anyone know of a SIMPLE way to view (slide show +magnification would be wonderful if possible) Canon .CR2 FILES.I do not need to edit or process them, as I do this "back at the ranch" with Photoshop. I realise I might need a bit more RAM and I am plucking up the courage to fit another Gig of memory. If I need to download something I can just about do that, but what and EXACTLY how do I install it? Can WINE help? It's probably a big ask (and outside the remit of the fo...

Ruby on Rails Bootcamp Training
Can anyone recommend good bootcamp style training (at least a week, ideally 7-10 days) in early 2012 ? I am happy to travel anywhere in the world but need to book a class soon that will definitely run and most of the classes I have found like Big Nerd Ranch (which looks excellent) don''t confirm until 30 days before the class is due which is just too late for me. Any pointers and reviews of training classes in the States will be gratefully appreciated! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Rub...

versioning of win32 versus ruby gems
I know we already mentioned this before on the list but I couldn''t find it in the archives. Is there a way to differentiate the versions for ruby/mswin32 so that I could run a command like: # sudo gem install mongrel --source=http://mongrel.rubyforge.org/releases/ --include-dependencies --version 1.0 and have it not prompt me like this: Select which gem to install for your platform

Using Wine across distros with symlink
I have set up the configurations and profiles for some of my programs so that I can use them across distros, and easily configure new installations with all my old settings. For instance, if I use Firefox in Fedora, add some bookmarks, then go to suse or Mandriva the new bookmarks are there, as is history, etc. Same for Thunderbird. To do this I copy the relevant folder from /home/user to my
