Hello, Does anybody knows if the rt61 driver from rt2x00.serialmonkey.com works under centos 5? And if so, what is the recommended command to build this driver from sources, 'make install' or 'make install-fedora'? Thanks a lot! I need this driver for my ralink wlan card on my notebook. I also could build this driver under a fresh centos 5 installation, but it freezes my notebook if trying to start the network interface wlan0 (WPA2, AES). Hello, I bought a LevelOne WPC-0301 11g Wireless CardBus Adapter today. According to the box it is "v6". The ral(4) man- page mentions only v2, but that one is ancient and can't be bought anymore. Hi all! My thanks to the Centos team for continuing to slave away on C6 even with all the distractions!!! Just did a test install on my eeepc 901 (on an external drive, til I'm comfortable with it) and find that it doesn't seem to know how to talk to the ralink 2860 wireless chipset. A few months back I did a test install of Scientific Linux 6 and as I recall it (I may be mis-remembering) it "just worked". So I enabled EPEL and RPMFUSION but they don't seem to have the driver either. Clues appreciated. Thanks again to all to work on this...

Hello, I am looking for developer(s) to assist with two separate capabilities as contributions back to the community. 1) The ability to send management frames in wifi monitor mode with the run0 driver using the Ralink RT6390. 2) I would also like to get HostAP working with the same Ralink RT6390 radio.
