Dovecot - Postfix Calender Synchronisation
We tried installing Radicale months ago, and decided to postpone testing. Its footprint exceeds 140MB, because of python. It requires python, which is a security hazard on production servers. Security mitigations are absent: must use a virtual machine. Sent from ProtonMail Mobile On Thu, Aug 24, 2017 at 12:11 AM, Marcus Ruec...

Calendar and address book with Dovecot
Hi all I recently install Postfix and Dovecot, and so far so good. My assumption was that calendar and address book (similar to Gmail calendar or address book) are part of Dovecot. However I do not see anything concerning them in any of the docs I have read so far. What other software (ideally open source, free) do I need in other to have Calendar and address book so my users can manage their

Further groupware features can be seen as nice but ultimately unnecessary luxury, and a basic shared calendar can be accomplished with a separate server like https://radicale.org/ and a calendar client like one built into Thunderbird. Hopefully, that is all I would need for a small business. Can anyone point me to the kind of guide I need? Failing that, I would need information or examples about using fetchmail, getmail or similar software with Dovecot. Good or bad...

Dovecot CalDAV server
I've been once in a while over the years thinking about implementing CalDAV (and CardDAV) to Dovecot. It might be time to start that soon. Does anyone have any suggestions? So far my main goals would be: - scalable, of course - configurable storage (object storage, regular fs, maybe some key-value dbs, maybe storing as emails) - efficient indexes (potentially using key-value dbs? or maybe
