I've tried Fallout 2,icewind dale,and diablo 2 non work im using ubuntu 11.10 and wine 1,3 i click the exe and on my side bar the icon pops up and goes away what could be the issue and thanks

...p crashes after entering the key. I tried running notepad.exe. It runs fine. Distro: Kubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 LTS Tried wine version 1.2 and 1.3 (I'll try to post finer version datail soon. Installed from repo.) Since I suspect an issue around video settings, here is my config: I have an ATI Radeaon 9200se video card and a monitor running 1440x900 (officialy not supported resolution). Tried switching to 1024x768 without reboot, but no luck. Sidenote: tried it with PlayOnLinux too, but no luck, plus it complained that I don't have 3D acceleration. Does anyone have any idea why it crashes?...
