R-beta does not install on FreeBSD

This happens with all recent beta versions. R version 2.7.1 Patched
(2008-08-10 r46284) installed and worked fine.
Could this be a bug with R-beta or is there something wrong with my
FreeBSD version?
Any help is appreciated.
