GLM Logit and coefficient testing (linear combination)
...ressions with R and I would like to test a
linear combination of coefficients (H0: beta1=beta2 against H1:
beta1<>beta2). Is there a package for such a test or how can I perform
it otherwise (perhaps with logLik() ???)?
Additionally I was wondering if there was no routine to calculate pseudo
R2s for logit regressions. Currently I am calculating the pseudo R2 by
comparing the maximum value of the log-Likelihood-function of the fitted
model with the maximum log-likelihood-function of a model containing
only a constant. Any better ideas?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Is samba right for me?
...bit of myth debunking for me?
Would you suggest samba for managing Windows clients (any other tools you
can recommend in addition?)
I really would like to use Samba + Linux because of the cost of ownership
and the open-source community, I just want to make sure it's up to par with
Server 2008 R2s offerings.
Thank you so much for your time!

Obtaining the adjusted r-square given the regression coefficients
Hi people,
I want to obtain the adjusted r-square given a set of coefficients (without the intercept), and I don't know if there is a function that does it. Exist????????????????
I know that if you make a linear regression, you enter the dataset and have in "summary" the adjusted r-square. But this is calculated using the coefficients that R obtained, and I want other coefficients

ATA-186 Dialplans
Does anyone have experience with ATA-186 Dialplans?
If I was doing this in Asterisk I would use the following patterns:
911
_9NXXXXXX
_91XXXXXXXXXX
_NXXX
_*XX
I tried the following in my ATA-186, but it doesn't seem to work:
911S|9.r6S|91.r9S|^1.r2S|*..S
Does any one have any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks in advance,

corrigendum on fixed effects and R2 in within models
...an be recovered
later: see ?fixef and ?summary.fixef for t-tests for significance of
single effects. See ?pooltest for the joint test of significance of all
FEs.
This should affect the within/between variance and therefore the within
and between R-squareds.
## it is the (different flavours of-) r2s that are *defined* according
to the transformation used. Yet, as I said above, you can have them all,
just ask (-the software!).

I have a problem that I am unable to sort out. Maybe someone can
