Backports to 1.2.14 of 1.4.0 app_queue features.
Nothing much to be said.. I backported ringinuse, autofill and the QueueLog
application from 1.4.0 to 1.2.14. Any or all may be applied - order doesn't
matter.
They have received minimal testing but appear to function correctly. As always
with these things, don't blame me if they connect your callers to a phonesex
line, etc.

Queue Hold Time
I know that you can announce the current
hold time to the caller, and that this hold time
is based on the box car filter...
Are there any current plans to include
a management type of feature to export
actual average, min, and max hold time.
Is there already something implemented
that I am unaware of?

Detecting Events in queues
Hi everybody,
I would like to know how can I detect events in queues. For example when
an operator answers a call which was in a queue I would like to some
informations related to the caller (quote from the database) to the
operator. I saw these events in queuelog.conf but i don't know how to
retrieve them in my AGI.
Thanks for any help

Queues/Agents
Is there a way to get the que logs to go to a postgresql database?
And/or are they any documents that explain the layout and field meanings?
The logs look like they will be very helpful.
Especially to show how long calls are held and who is taking them.
I would like to make simple web reporting tool to show a daily summary
status of queue activity.
Also, there is not a manager command to do

Autoreply: Re: Queue stats
...don't quite
see why your calls jump out and back into the moh queue). All the of
queue statistics you need should be available with careful parsing of
the queue log (usually located in /var/log/asterisk/queue_log). You can
also trigger custom queue log events from the dialplan by calling the
QueueLog() application. In your case, you might want to add a custom
queue log entry every time the caller rejoins the moh queue, saying
something to the effect of "Caller XYZ has rejoined the moh queue for
the 10th time" or something like that.

ACD functionality , Skills for agents
Hi all,
I have a question regarding ACD for queues. What happens when I have 2
or more queues with same weight and each queue has a call in? How will it
decide which call will be routed to the next available agent? Will it take
the call with the longest waiting time in queue? If not how would I do
this?
Also can someone point me to resources for making a single queue with
customer calls

Programs to parse queue_log
What third party programs are available for parsing the queue_log file
and CDR file? I know about XC-AST, but management would prefer a php
based solution.
What have other admins done to retrieve detailed call information about
the queue system? Anyone develop their own that they don't mind sharing?

Request for comments on queue statistics
All,
I've been doing a lot of work on the Queue application and have some ideas
I wanted to get some feedback on. Many people, myself included, have
stated their desire for more/better queue statistics. We ought to be able
to bring things up to a standard comparable to the established ACD apps.
While some basic metrics (completed/abandoned calls, which agents last
took a call, etc) can be
