queequeg: hello, three-phase monitoring.
hi everyone,
im monitoring a dozen Chloride Linear MKII ups's.
everything seems to work fine, even thou they are
not listed in the "UPS hardware compatibility list (stable)"
i have run into a problem, i have a three-phase output
coming out of 'em. and NUT seems to monitor only the
first of the three-phases.
is there a way to get the load on each of the phases

Opti-UPS Value Series 575C
Hi!
(first of all, FAQ tells me I should mention "queequeg" :P)
I recently bought the UPS mentioned in the subject, assuming it'd work
with Linux somehow, and the protocol will soon be something common --
turns out I was wrong.

Smart-UPS staying in OB after power return
...EL6 clone) from EPEL packages. 'upsc' output pasted at bottom.
I'm not very familiar with UPSs in general or this model in particular,
and it's doing things I don't expect. I have done my homework, and read
UPS user manual, googled much, read most NUT manuals, read up to
'queequeg', asked on APC forums, etc.
The most distressing problem is the UPS stays OB after removing and
reapplying utility power. When power is removed, the UPS goes OB and
upsmon detects the power failure no problem, reporting
's0-ups0 at localhost is on battery'. But when power is restored...

How to set a UPS variable
queequeg says hi. :)
I am trying to set a UPS variable, specifically outlet.1.delay.shutdown
I've been all over the online docs. I have found the full listing of
the various variables that I can set. I've read the page that says,

C. NUT command and variable naming scheme...

Hmm, not sure if this is similar to software we have seen before.

Trouble connecting to apc smart 1500 via serial cable
...ocol UPS on
port" without results. Can somebody tell me what could I try first? Or
how to check that the cable is working? Maybe the UPS doesn't really
work with both cables at the same time and I was previously deluded
about the second windows machine being safe?
PD: I want a box full of queequeg.

TrippLite USB UPS
...ported it to my stable system. After
unpacking it I still had no luck.
SVN'd the latest development version but couldn't figure out how to build it
(I guess I've been out of things for a while because that was the first time
I've ever heard of or used Subversion).
Read the FAQ (queequeg) somewhere along the line.
I also realized somewhere along the line that my kernel did not have USB file
system support enabled. Fixed that.
Copied the drivers from the trunk sub-directory to the Debian 2.0.5 package
drivers directory, and built the package that way.
That seems to have given m...

NUT 2.8.1-3 " Can't claim USB device [051d:0002]@0/0: Entity not found" using usbhid-ups
...bought a UPS for the first time in my life, and was eager to
dive into NUT. But not all is working as expected... I saw a similar thread
started on 18 October, but it didn't help me. (I also spent a handful of
hours searching the web for solutions, and of course read the manual and
FAQ - "queequeg".)
I tried shutting my UPS (APC "Back-UPS BX750MI FW:295202G -302202G") down
with `sudo upsdrvctl shutdown`, but no response. Digging around, I found a
few things that raised my suspicion, but I can't figure it out...
I followed this fine gentleman's guide (but tweaked it...
