I didn't know where to post this, I hope this is not totally the wrong place. The Quartus II Web Edition (version 5.0) program for verilog synthesis won't install (it can be downloaded from https://www.altera.com/support/software/download/altera_design/quartus_we/dnl-quartus_we.jsp ). As now seems to be the phase for getting everything to install i hope this report can be of some help. Below is the error I get from trying to install it.
