Issue with Samba and Microsoft Word

Delete files
...rt my own script?
I'm interested in creating an undelete shell script that keeps files from
"accidentally-on-purpose" being erased from the fileserver.

log.smbd says no hosts
...t.
But looing in smb.conf I see
hosts allow = 127.0.0.1 10.0.0.
Am I looking in the wrong place or am I not understanding what's going on?
