Error loading a dependency in a package: missing namespace?
...seems that the error is related to something having to do with
namespaces. The thing is that package "outliers" does not have a
NAMESPACE file. Could this be an issue?
I have contacted the author of the package and he sais that "outliers"
has been used in another package, "quantchem" (also in CRAN). However,
"quantchem" does not have a "NAMESPACE" file either.
I have been looking for information on how the loadNamespace function
works and even looking at its code.
But can anybody give me a clue? Would the "outliers" package require a

What is Mandel's (Fitting) Test?

quadratic function will generally have an advantage over a linear function
simply by dint of having more terms to play with. So I've been looking for a
test that takes this advantage into account and I came across something called
the Mandel Test. It is available in the quantchem package, but the manual
contains a very meagre description of it's details (assumptions, etc).
Furthermore, besides biology/chemistry papers that reference it in passing,
I've been able to find only one reference online that addresses it's use
