CentOS 6.8 and libGL failures
...000) > libnvidia-glcore.so.346.35 => /usr/lib64/nvidia/libnvidia-glcore.so.346.35 (0x00007f6ddd67a000) > # > > Yet, it is strange that it all worked under 6.7 and before. You've got the 3rd-party nvidia packages installed. Do you know which repo you got them from? "rpm -qif /usr/lib64/nvidia/libGL.so.1" should tell you which package it is and the Packager. -- Jonathan Billings <billings at negate.org>

CentOS 7, KDE, Dolphin and MTP support
...example, I managed to correct the missing RAR support in the Ark archive manager, so I fetched the SRPM and rebuilt it to add RAR archive support, and it works perfectly now. I'd like to try something similar with Dolphin's MTP support, which seems to have been disabled. According to rpm -qif /usr/bin/dolphin, it's part of the kde-baseapps package. I fetched the SRPM and experimented with it, but apparently, enabling/disabling MTP does not happen here. So my question here: which package in KDE 4 is responsible for MTP support in Dolphin ? Cheers, Niki -- Microlinux - Solutions i...

Microsoft Money 2003
Just a note that I installed Money 2003 last night. I don't know if anyone has done this successfully before or not. It mostly works, too. I was able to set up accounts and download transactions, etc. I will be doing more experimentation with it and can provide additional information - if anyone is interested. Here what I did in a nutshell: I used a recent wine build and installed IE6

Full_Name: Vaidotas Zemlys Version: 2.1.1 OS: Ubuntu 05.10 Submission from: (NULL) (213.197.173.50) Hi, This is really a feature request, not a bug. I wrote the mail to R-devel, but nobody answered it. I use Gnome on my computer and sometimes I use its default text editor gedit. It uses gtksourceview library for syntax highlighting. I decided that it would be nice if gedit supported R

neatest way to determine a major version of centos/linux?
Just started a rollout of centos 6.x across our Puppet deployment (100-odd servers). what fact would people suggest I use to distinguish 5.x from 6.x (quite a lot of subsystems are different between major releases)? lsb* facts don''t seem to be present on centos 6 - is this an EPEL bug, or have they just been removed in Facter? Thanks! -- You received this message because you are
