making dovecot and exim write to one log
Hello, I am looking for some advice. I am trying to force dovecot to run to the same log as exim does. In dovecot.conf I put the exim log path /var/log/exim/mainlog. I restarted dovecot and the process worked fine. However at midnight exim log file is rotated and since then dovecot stops logging to this log. In syslog.conf I put: mail.*

Libvirt daemon usage question
I could use some help with clarification on the use of the libvirtd daemon with regards to managing remote KVM instances. Right now I have a CentOS 6 KVM server (libvirt-0.8.1), but would like to use some management applications that require higher version (0.8.8). First, is it possible to run the libvirtd daemon from within a VM, or does it require active kvm kernel module? Secondly, could a

[LLVMdev] Need advice on writing scheduling pass
Hi, thank you for your explanations. In order to get a pre-RA scheduling, I would need something like: - LiveVars - PhiElim - TwoAddr - LiveIntervals - Coalescing - Scheduler (new) - SlotIndexing - LiveIntervals2 (new) - RegAllocMy qeustion then is, is it really so difficult to create the live intervals information, with modifications to the original algorithm, or even from scratch?

RExcel: "Sctools not available"
I have a problem with RExcel which I have now installed on top of R 2.11.0. The problem had been posted in 2009 on the forum by someone else, but no (useful) response had been uploaded. The issue is that whenever I am trying to start R from excel, or by clicking the[ RExcel2007 with RCommander] icon....., I get the following messages boxes : "SCTools not available " then:

Can I use pxelinux to boot a cdrom image or isolinux from pxe?
Greetings, I've been a user and fan of SYSLINUX for a couple of years now. I use PXELINUX for a PXE server. I've only been able to boot linux kernel/initrd images and dos bootdisks, however now I'm wanting to create a boot image for the 'Rescue Is Possible' (RIP) linux recovery disk - http://www.tux.org/pub/people/kent-robotti/looplinux/rip/ Previous versions came with a

[LLVMdev] Need advice on writing scheduling pass
Hi (Jakob), in reference to the prior message below, I have the following follow-up questions, as I also need a scheduling pass prior to regalloc. I need to do this in order to set VLIW-flags, so that the RA is aware of several MI's per cycle with a redefined LiveRange::overlap-function. On a multiple-issue cycle, a register that gets killed can be reused by another MI - these live ranges do

Dear R-helpers, We marked 6000 leaves from 5 SPECIES - 10 individuals/species - in two different TREATMENTs: a control and a dry-plot from which 50% of incoming precipitation was excluded. We followed those leaves for 42 months and noted the presence and absence at each visit. I then carried out a Cox Harzard model to see differences in leaf mortality between parcels and among species over time:
