filesize limitation in CentOS or exim?
...he messages are partial in German.
Then I tried a restart:
[root at centos ~]# service exim restart
exim beenden: [FEHLGESCHLAGEN]
exim starten: /bin/bash: line 1: 6596 Die maximale Dateigr??e ist ?berschritten /usr/sbin/exim -bd -q30m
[FEHLGESCHLAGEN]
Reducing the size of /var/log/exim/main.log has solved the Problem.
I presume it is a message of CentOS, not from exim. Is this correct?
I think, max filesize in CentOS is 2 TB? See http://www.centos.org/produc...

Sendmail -- local mail problems
I am having problems on with locally generated mail on a box (production)
that was just updated to 4.8-RELEASE from 4.62
After trying all manor of cures noted by others here and in google I have
managed to get past the permission denied messages in the system log, but
not in maillog. I now have all of today's local form submissions and my
command line test mails backing up in

sendmail: clientmqueue directory storing massive messages, not being cleared
I just got done sending 42,000 e-mail messages that were rotting away in
/var/spool/clientmqueue. I figured out the command to do so was
"sendmail -L sm-msp-queue -Ac -q30m".
I never even knew that directory existed. I thought everything queued was
kept in /var/spool/mqueue (which, I might add is being taken care of on a
regular basis.. just seems the problem lies in the /var/spool/clientmqueue
directory). Is this a new thing that I'm stupidly unaware of?...

Interrupt levels
I''m tracking performance on the machine I installed yesterday.
mutt running on one Xen instance, accessing via imap to another
instance, accessing via nfs the maildir in another instances, seems
little laggy when moving up and down the message index list.
Network latency seems low < 30ms on average.
So I was tracking vmstat.
On the mutt instances is seems reasonable:

ZFS Locking Up periodically
I''ve recently re-installed an X4500 running Nevada b109 and have been
experiencing ZFS lock ups regularly (perhaps once every 2-3 days).
The machine is a backup server and receives hourly ZFS snapshots from
another thumper - as such, the amount of zfs activity tends to be
reasonably high. After about 48 - 72 hours, the file system seems to lock
up and I''m unable to do anything
