ESFQ?
Hi again, I was just looking around for ESFQ sources, and I see that the main site is down, and only has kernel 2.6.4 patches. Is ESFQ maintained? If so, where can I find patches for 2.6.10? Thanks, -justin _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/la...

[PATCH 0/6] htb: cleanup
The HTB scheduler code is a mess, this patch set does some basic house cleaning. The first four should cause no code change, but the last two need more testing. -- Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@osdl.org> "And in the Packet there writ down that doome" - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe netdev" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html

Is there a model like that in R?
Hi to everyone, I am starting to work with a model that is not familiar to me. The model would be like that: y = . - a*max(Q(i) - Q(0), 0) + . where Q(i) is the accumulated effect of a variable at time i and Q(0) a threshold above it there is effect on y. The value of Q(i) could be estimated as: Q(i+1) = Q(i) + b*max(s(i) - s(0), 0) + c*min(s(i) - s(0), 0) + . Where s would be the effect that produces the...

Windows Offline Folders
Am running Samba 2.2.7 on Red Hat 8.0 with Windows 2K clients patched to SP4 Creating off line folders works fine but if any file is modified off line and then sync'd back when the laptop is reconnected to the network it comes back with an unable to connect - access denied message. But I can quite happily copy the files over manually. I have attached the log file (log level = 3) for the period when I was trying to sync two files. Any pointers on this would be much appreciated. Thanks Nick Gale begin 666 nickslaptop.log M6S(P,#,O,3$O,3D@,C Z,30Z,#0L(#-=('-M8F0O<V5C7V-T>&qu...

data.frame query
Hi All, Apologies for the simplicity of my question, but I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks I'm trying to put the output from a for loop into a data frame, however I have not been successful. The steps I have taken are: *R-code:* >for (k in 1:(nt-1-n0) ){ > n<- n0-1+k > lam=n/nt > Q=x[n] > output1...

Problems with nls
I'm trying to fit the Bass Diffusion Model using the nls function in R but I'm running into a strange problem. The model has either two or three parameters, depending on how it's parameterized, p (coefficient of innovation), q (coefficient of immitation), and sometimes m (maximum market share). Regardless of how I parameterize the model I get an error saying that the step factor has decreased below it's minimum. I have tried re-setting the minimum in nls.controls but that doesn't seem to fix the problem. Likewise...

[PATCH 2.6] update to network emulation QOS scheduler
This patch updates the network emulation packet scheduler. * name changed from delay to netem since it does more than just delay * Catalin''s merged code to do packet reordering * uses a socket queue''s directly rather than layering on qdisc(fifo) because this is used in performance tests. * adds placeholder in API for future enhancements (rate and duplicate). [PATCH] packet delay scheduler
Okay, here is a very simple QOS scheduler that delays packets for 2.6. It is good for testing, and might be useful for people who want to put some class of traffic into a "penalty box". Alexey''s tc command is really easy to extend to new disciplines. There is a version which knows about this scheduler at:...

[PATCH] nv30-nv40: support unlimited queries (v2)
Currently on NV30/NV40 an assert will be triggered once 32 queries are outstanding. This violates the OpenGL/Gallium interface, which requires support for an unlimited number of fences. This patch fixes the problem by putting queries in a linked list and waiting on the oldest one if allocation fails. nVidia seems to use a similar strategy, but with 1024 i...

[ANNOUNCE] sch_ooo - Out-of-order packet queue discipline
Hello! I like to announce sch_ooo, a new queue discipline that, attached to a class (or a device, as root) reorder the packets that pass by delaying some. Example: tc qdisc add dev eth0 root ooo limit 100 gap 4 wait 1100 This queue will create a pfifo with limit 100 and will delay every 4th packet with 1100ms. An stream of 6 packets like...

Dangerous Bug with IF function of R
hi! there is a bug with the IF operator that is really dangerous! please try the code below and if someone could explain to me why when (q is equal to 0.8, 0.9 or 1) R do not print it? q=0 for (j in 1:11){ if ((q==1)){ print(q) } q=q+0.1 } so in this code q is incremented from 0 to 1.1. but R do not capture print the value 1, 0.8 and 0.9 !! try to change (q==0.4) it gonna print 0.4. but if you put q==0.8 or 0.9 or 1 it doesn...
