compile samba 4.10.2 centos 7.6

development environment is pretty one-lung.
There are branches and tags there labeled for 4.9.5 that might satisfy
your needs for upgrade until future notice and you're welcome to clone
and work from any of my work if you like.

disjointed namespaces with samba working?
Hi,
is it possible to use a so called disjointed namespaces without having
to "fake" the hosts fqdn giving it the AD-name as hostname?
Background:
We have a unix and a Windows world and each runs below it's domain.
Let's say UNIX-DOMAIN and WIN-DOMAIN. When there is the need to bring
the two worlds together the first choice is to use samba4 on unix joined
to the AD domain name

Oh. Also pytalloc-util and python3-talloc-dev, - similar thing to
pyldb-util and python3-ldb-dev. Also unused.

libsamba-policy.cpython: where it is used in samba?
Hi!
I'm trying to find where various components of samba belongs to and where they're used.
There are quite a few files with unknown purpose. For example, a cpython library
(python code which is to be linked to from a C program) libsamba-policy. On current
debian it is like:
usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libsamba-policy.cpython-311-x86-64-linux-gnu.so.0.0.1
