portable player
I am looking into purchacing a portable player. I know there is alpha/beta
firmware for the HipZip (But I haven't been able to find link to download
it). Is there any other player that supports Vorbis (even as alpha/beta
firmware)?
Thanks
Ian

My Phone Review- Large Scale Corp Deployment.
...ey are VERY well
built, and work extremely well- If you are looking for a serious WIFI
SIP phone, this is the unit for you. Trust me, I tested 3 of the other
popular WIFI sip phones, and they are cheaply made- even the Linksys-
other WiFI phones are built like cheap plastic cell phones.
We have purchaced over 125 Zulty WIP 2's and they are great. A company
named Neobits has them for sale.
And the best hard phone- The Aastra 480i.
This phone is a class act. I would even pick this over a Cisco 7960. It
has many features, feels great, has a very cool look, and the sound
quality is OUTSTANDING...

3Com Cards
...essfuly use PXElinux to boot a diskless workstations from two 3COM NICs. I had to do as you suggested and upgrade them both to 3COM's MBA v4.30. After, flashing the bootproms - no problems at all!

just for your info: The B card has a optional bootprom chip that you must purchaced and installed on the NIC
The C card come with the bootprom as part of the NIC
Thanks for your great program!

Record companies drive me nuts (was: new MS codecs)
It's AALLL true...
I have buyed a LOT of legal CDs based on the listening of 'pirated' copies
downloaded on compressed format. companies should be glad.
I agree with Freya (quoted below) very strongly. Not to restate what's
already been said, but record companies claim "we lose $XX million in sales
each year because of people pirating our music using mp3s". In reality,
