Letor: Post Mid-Term plan
...Rishabh,
As per our previous discussion, we will talk each week now about the
project. Please update the timeline/todo/journal accordingly so that we can
check the status on this saturday for this week.
Please remember that this half of the programme is smaller and hence we
would need to be very punctual about the goals.
Regards,
Parth.

Dear all,
I am trying to plot on a spatial map the punctual measurements of the data

the dots in some way proportional to the magnitudes of the measurements.

article for consideration, Atheros 5007EG wireless card
I have a page where I document getting the increasingly popular AR5007EG
Atheros wireless card working. (This is the card used in the Asus EEE
PC).
The current article covers several
distributions, but would be modified to just cover CentOS.
It does, however, involve getting third party software, as the rpmforge
repos don't have the necessary drivers. (Apparently, it's a bit of a

dimensioning: Where is the CPU vs Asterisk load table
Hi, is there any good calculator/table/reference about proper dimensioning?
I read the wiki and they basically say "xx users run fine in yy hardware"
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+dimensioning.
SO far I read that:
-Run up to 4 E1s per CPU (which one? an i386 or a dual core?
-it is very CPU intensive to do transcoding. Try to minimize it.
-you can help the CPU

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele,
nice to meet you, I'm a collegue of Gabriele.
The problem with "blazer_usb" driver ("blazer_ser" works correctly) is related to the following commands:
- "F" and "I": when the KRAULER subdriver check these UPS answers it uses wrong constants to check the lenght of the received packets, so these commands are considered as "not

Compile vs. RPM
Hello CentOS,
I'm an old hat, and have been compiling my own MySQL, Apache, PHP,
OpenSSL, ModSSL, etc. for my webservers for years. I'm playing around
with the RPM installs on CentOS, and have basically been able to get
most things setup so that they "function" about the same.
If I could stick to RPM's rather than compiling my own sources, it
would save me a fair bit of
