pullin' out my hair because i can't connect to a samba server
my samba server is sound. i've run every test and everything has passed, but
i'm having endless problems connecting to my samba server.
i know this has to me a winxp pro issue.
i've installed the sign or seal patch.
i can see the "sol" domain, but when it comes to connecting to it, i can't. i

I posted the bug at http://sourceforge.net/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=130992&group_id=13478 . Since all my other discs were encoding fine I thought that the wav file may be corrupt/invalid/or something. I opened them with cool edit and "saved as"ed them to my drive. These files encoded fine and the extraced/converted files have the correct md5sum. Is there a program that can

with your wav. the -p option is causing the
problem. -p drastically increases the runtime
and only improves the compression by a tiny
bit, which is why it is only turned on in -9.
until the bug is fixed it is safer to not use
-p (but -V will catch any errors -p causes).

Transfer problems revisited
...alling phone (outside, from-pstn) and get the 'transfer' message and dialtone.. however, if I originate the call internally, the # key doesn't function at all... so, the T option will work if the caller is outside, but not if the caller is inside, does that ring any bells for anyone?... pullin my hair out on this one.
