RSync from NAS machine over WinXP with cwRSync to another PC
Hello,
some people want to use the following construction:
they have a NAS machine with an integrated rsync (may be on embedded linux).
they have a WinXP with cwRsyncServer (with rsync 3.0.2)
and they have on WinXP a network share (i.e. Y:
== "//192.168.100.123/sharename")
They can use NAS / WinXP with cwRsync to copy files from NAS to a local path
on the WinXP machine.
But how

SIP canreinvite=yes Broke?
...get the phones to talk/RTP to each other. jtodd has had this problem in the past with the 186's. Just wondering if anyone has a reason why "Cisco sometimes poop on reinvite" is the Cisco code broke? if so we can push on Cisco to fix it. the U is a MAJOR Cisco shop so we have some puhs there. if its * code, I will offer up anything (within reason) to work this out.
This prob would be a major issue in rolling * out further if every call HAS to go thru the * server fro bridging.
Do other SIP hardsets have this problem? sniff you calls to another SIP hardset and check ot see i...

Pigeonhole sieve re-filter extension?
...g like
that. That said, on small systems even a cron may work.
I never used the sieve-filter tool, though. And the man page warns about
its useage.

Problem with Samba: "The account is not authorized to login from this station"
I am having a problem configuring Samba to work with my NT mahcines. I
can see the linux server from my NT machines. Under security=user, when
I attempt to browse the linux machine's shares, it asks for a username
and password, and then fails, telling me "The account is not authorized
to login from this station." If I set security = share, I can browse the
shares, but when I try and

Is R portable?
Recently I came across an interesting web site:
http://portableapps.com/. The idea is simple, this is software that
is possible to install and run on some type of USB memory, a stick or
one of these hard disks. I can think of a number of situations where
this could be handy. In addition memory sticks are getting cheaper
and more powerful by the day.
So: Is it possible to run R off one of

Also, forgive me if similar topics have been discussed elsewhere on

That said...
I''ve been positively thrilled with RSpec for use outside of Rails.
