Understanding of Vorbis coder
Hi I have gone through the document available in the net regarding the Vorbis encoder /Decoder. Based on that i have prepared a understanding document on the encoder/decoder block. I would like to know whether my understanding of the coder is OK. If there are any other additional block /information pl. provide me with the same. Thanks and regards S.Padmashri

here's the test case, possible solution
...it, as it just skips them). I did some thinking, and a possible solution is decreasing the ATH_Bark_dB[] for the lower frequencies. As the comments say, it's not really an ATH, but this table is limiting the maximum quantizer step (or something like that, I still don't fully understand the psymodel). I overdid it a bit (changing everything to zero, until the first zero in the original), and it helps a lot. Maybe this is the right spot for the change, in which case it needs to be tuned, or otherwise, it can help hunt down the problem. Btw, all these zeroes is too much; high freqs suffer. Mayb...

[LLVMdev] MergeFunctions: reduce complexity to O(log(N))
Hi Stepan, Sorry for the delay. It's great that you are working on MergeFunctions as well and I agree, we should definitely try to combine our efforts to improve MergeFunctions. Just to give you some context, the pass (with the similar function merging patch) is already being used in a production setting. From my point of view, it would be better if we focus on improving its capability
