p-value for hazard ratio in Cox proportional hazards regression?
Hi, I'm new to R and using it for Cox survival analysis. Thanks to this great forum I learned how to compute the HR with its confidence interval. My question would be: Is there any way to get the p-value for a hazard ratio in addition to the confidence interval? Time-Series, multiple measurements, ANOVA model over time points, analysis advice
Hi, I have some general questions about statistical analysis for a research dataset and a request for advice on using R and associated packages for a valid analysis of this data. I can only pose the problem as how to run multiple ANOVA tests on time series data, with reasonable controls of the family-wise error rate. If we run analysis at many small sections of a long time-series, the Type-I

ERP software
...he flexibility of the R environment. The eaze with wich I was able to generate simple plots of my EEG data made me wonder if someone tried to implement an ERP package. For the non-cognitive scientists ou there: EEG is electrical activity measured from the scalp (usually multi-lead) that is used in psychophysiological experiments to infer cortical activation. In a typical experiment this data can be linked to events: usually stimulus presentations, to calculate 'trial means' in distict trial subcategories. Did someone out there made an effort to put together some sort of package for the analysis of this...

Very Large Data Sets
List, Can R handle very large data sets (say, 100 million records) for data mining applications? My understanding is that Splus can not, but SAS can easily.
