New version of MBESS released
Hello useRs, MBESS (Methods for the Behavioral, Educational, and Social Sciences) has recently been released and should be on all of the mirrors by now (with binaries for Mac and Windows: http://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/Descriptions/MBESS.html). The major contribution of MBESS is confidence intervals for noncentrality parameters (t, F, and chi-square) and standardized effect sizes (e.g.,

New package: mpt
Dear all, I have submitted a new package called mpt to CRAN. It contains functions for fitting and testing multinomial processing tree (MPT) models, a class of statistical models for categorical data that involve latent parameters. These parameters are often interpreted as psychological processing variables. An introduction to these models is: Riefer, D.M., & Batchelder, W.H. (1988).

My problem is: 1) if my polulation is no normal 2) if the sample data of all replications and treatments were well fitted from the Weibull distribution (shape and scale parameters). Can be The shape and scale parameters compared
