Re: Can't print PDFs or PSs in CentOS 5.0 - SOLVED
Thanks for all the input - the HPLJ4 driver "supplied by" Minolta (with
CentOS 5) solved my problem.

Can't print PDFs or PSs in CentOS 5.0
For some reason, when I try to print any graphic PDF (or a PS file made
from said graphic), it kills my Minolta 1100 laser printer, and I have
to cancel the job, disable the printer and turn the printer off and on
as many times as it takes to clear its buffer of the trash.
I'm running CentOS 5.0 and have tried Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 for
Linux; I have also tried printing the pdf to a file

Can we disable diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 by default?
e.g. can we make it throw warnings etc. rsa-sha2-256 and rsa-sha2-512
are fine, they use PSS.

Two way joining vs heatmap
Hi
STATISTICA has a function called "Two-way joining" (see
http://www.statsoft.com/TEXTBOOK/stcluan.html#twotwo) and the
reference material states that this is based on the method as
published by Hartigan (found this paper:
http://www.jstor.org/pss/2284710 through wikipedia).
What is the relationship (if any) between the "heatmap" function in R
and this technique? Is there an alternative function to use?
Thanks for the help!

rnorm??
...here is a bug in rnorm.
When generating rnorm(1000000) and counting
the cases > 4 and the cases < (-4) I get rather
unexpectedly low counts for the latter. The problem goes away
when using qnorm(runif(1000000)).

A Computer Method for Calculating Kendall's Tau with Ungrouped Data

I'm interested in contributing an implementation of this algorithm to
R. However, I have a few questions:
1. Would it likely be accepted if well-implemented?
2. cov.c in the main/ directory of the R source tree seems to contain

Infinite loop
R experts,
Hello, I am trying to sample a vector 1:40 without replacement such that no element in the new vector
is within 7 units of either of its immediate neighbors. This is part of a larger program I am working
on. The following code works well about 65 % of the time (14/40). The problem I encounter happens when
the last element remaining to be sampled from the vector STRATA is within 7
