I am trying to install the HP PSP on a CentOS 3.4 server but it keeps telling me, only on certain rpms mind you, that the OS is not supported. I have made the modifications to redhat-release which cleared up some of the initial errors I was having but not all. Where else would the rpms be getting the OS info from? Better yet, has anyone managed to get the Linux PSP to install on a CentOS

The only advantage of using the PSPS program (its GUI is psppire) is that you can see the data in a rectangular spreadsheet that is more-or-less searchable. Greetings, Can anyone relate experience(s) installing CentOS on Compaq rack mount servers units please? Easy no problem, easy some issues, or ghastly do not do it under any circumstances... ;) Basically, I'm looking at some used/refurb dual PIII units and will run RAID on Compaq built in SCSI or is it easy to pop in some 3ware SATA in them? Let me know in terms of CentOS 3 and/or 4 please.
